The new Merger combines the best components and functions available at any time, resulting in incredibly detailed and clear images of both targets and background. With a new electronic platform and improved image processing algorithms, the binoculars offer a new approach to image optimization for any purpose and observation conditions. A powerful French-made Lynred 640×480 / 17μm thermal imaging sensor with NETD <25mK ensures perfect detail recognition even under the harshest weather conditions when thermal contrast is low. The quality of the sensor results in a sharp thermal image with rich contrast for improved identification of animals, their limbs and even the smallest details such as branches, leaves, grass or ground. The ultimate detection efficiency of the Merger is achieved by combining the highly sensitive thermal sensor with the F50/1.0 fast aperture germanium lens. The power of the lens and the sensitivity of the sensor ensure excellent detection capabilities. A typical 1.8m object can be detected up to 1800m away in total darkness.
